  11. some questions about this modem:

  13. 1) Had problems with remote access to voicemail. The system will say
  14.    "you have x new mesages...."and then hang up. I put in the init
  15.    string they recomend in the faxback service and it seems to be 
  16.    improved, but not perfect. Any thoughts?

  18. 2) I've installed faxworks 4 times and it works all 4 times EXCEPT,
  19.    whenever I boot up windows I get an error message that says
  20.    "enter Cardinal startup disk 1" I've been hitting cancel and
  21.    going on, but how do I get rid of this message??

  23. 3) Where am I supposed toplug in the speakers? If I plug them into the 
  24.    modem I can hear (barely) my voice messages but I'm deafened everytime
  25.    my modem dials somewhere from the horrible LOUD squeal that comes 
  26.    through the speakers. Is there a way I can stop the modem dialing and
  27.    init coming through but still have the voicemail audible?? The other
  28.    option is to have the speakers plugged into the soundcard, but to
  29.    hear messages I have to pick up the handsetof the phone. annoying!

  31. 4) How much memory does the call center on faxworks use up?? I have a
  32.    virus free 486 dx266 with 615K conv mem free and 8mb ram, but when
  33.    faxworks is open (and nothing else!) I can't use Microsoft Word. 
  34.    any thoughts???

  36. 5)  I guess noone has come up with a way to have a voicemail card answer
  37.     and not kick you off an online service (or ISP) on the same phone line?
